Dropbox Launches Photos Gallery for Android

EZsocialmedia resource picks:

Online file storage service Dropbox has updated its Android app to automatically pull the photos from your phone and display them more artistically for your browsing and sharing enjoyment.

It’s an opt-in control, but once connected, it will pull up your entire cache of photos in seconds and organize them by date.

You can also create a new folder and upload them one by one for a more controlled approach. (Who knows what kinds of pictures are still lurking on your phone?)

There are no filter effects, collage tools, or other tricks  — it’s not quite like Instagram or the Photoset service that Tumblr just launched — but it will keep all your photos from your desktop and phone in one place so that you can access them from any device.

You can also share the photos on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Path, Flickr, email and others; and save them to your SD card.

The update is available now on Google Play.
